For the perfect little getaway, which involves recharging your energy sprinkled with a bit of adventure, we have an itinerary that will feel like a proper vacation away from the everyday city life.

8:00 AM : Tee-off at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club

Golf amateurs and enthusiasts alike love the golf course at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler for it’s sprawling scenery. The practice facility offers lessons and time to hone in on your skills. The special rates for British Columbia residents is certainly an added bonus. The morning tee times can be accompanied by take-away breakfast or lunch from The Clubhouse.

11 AM : Cultural Immersion at SLCC

Saunter over to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre next door for a walk through the rich indigenous history of the area.
Learn about the architecture of the centre which blends the traditional Squamish Longhouse with the Lil’wat Istken, juxtaposed with stark mountains. To enhance the experience, opt for a guided tour with one of the Cultural Ambassadors, and attend the traditional drum song performances.

Noon: Lake-side Picnic

Take-away lunch-to-go from Portobello Fresh Market & bakery makes for an easy choice as you can make your own sandwich, paired with a beverage and soup. Head over for some nearby lake-hopping in the afternoon for a bit of R&R after an activity-heavy morning. Take a floatie out to Alta Lake, Green Lake or Cheakamus Lake for a bit of calm and quiet.

4 PM : Wine O’Clock in The Village

The Whistler Lower Village is great for a lazy stroll and retail therapy followed by your poison of choice to enjoy patio weather while it lasts. The Village has a plethora of options from the very chic Basalt Wine & Salumeria to Bar Oso with their European festive vibe.

7:30 PM : Three Course Rooftop BBQ
