Whistlers Writers Festival

The Whistler Writing Society, founded in 2001 and a non-profit organization in 2005, has evolved into a charitable entity since 2016. With over 150 members residing in the Sea to Sky Corridor, the society promotes literary arts, provides a platform for local writers to hone their craft, and organizes literary events in the region. Notably, they initiated the Whistler Writers Festival in 2002, a cornerstone of their efforts, featuring Canadian authors, workshops, and engaging activities, while fostering an environment for established and emerging writers to connect, develop, and shine.
