Winter Biking
November – April
If you have days for trails, we have trails for days. snowshoe, hike, or take a fat tire bike along Jasper’s best trails through the alpine and across frozen lakes. With short loops and full-day trails, time is on your side. Choose from a variety of routes that suit all abilities. Rent a Kona Wo Fat Bike for and hour or up to a day to get out on Jasper’s trails!

Marmot basin
November – May
For skiers and snowboarders hoping to spend a little less time in the lift line and gain extra runs on fresh powder, Marmot Basin is just the place to be! Ski and ride with rewarding peak views from one of the highest base elevation mountain resorts in Canada. Escape the crowds and explore all 1720 acres of skiable terrain and 90+ trails this winter with the locals who know this mountain well.

Wapakwanis plant walk

Embark on a fascinating journey and learn about the Plant Medicine World of Jasper National Park. These guided walks are led by Cree Knowledge Keeper, Matricia of Warrior Women. Get a closer look at the food and medicines that the land offers in surprising places. This guided walk is offered most Tuesdays.

Jasper Planetarium
Available: All Year
Jasper National Park is home to the second largest Dark Sky Preserve in the world by the Royal Astronomical Society in Canada. The National Park’s limited light pollution creates ideal conditions for dark sky viewing. Learn more about constellations, stargaze with powerful telescopes, and maybe even wish upon a shooting star at the Jasper Planetarium.
